Amigo Projects was appointed by the State PWD, Maharashtra, to deliver end-to-end DPR Consultancy for the construction of a 450-meter major bridge across the Kanhan River, connecting Rajola to Kotgaon in Nagpur district. The project demanded strict adherence to IRC codes and government approval processes, beginning with feasibility studies, reconnaissance surveys, alignment option analysis, preliminary GAD preparation, and initial cost estimation for securing Administrative Approval. Our team conducted detailed hydrological assessments, catchment analysis, flood-level evaluation, and scour calculations to determine safe deck levels and foundation depths. Comprehensive geotechnical investigations, including borehole drilling, soil testing, and foundation recommendations, ensured accurate and safe structural planning.
Following feasibility and investigations, Amigo Projects carried out complete topographical surveying, structural design of substructure and superstructure, river training work design, preparation of BOQs, and DSR-based cost estimates required for Technical Sanction. The project also involved preparing land acquisition plans, utility-shifting layouts, and environmental considerations to align with government protocols. Additionally, we provided pre-construction support such as drafting tender documents, assisting in pre-bid queries, and supporting technical bid evaluations. Through a structured, multi-phase approach, we delivered a technically sound, regulation-compliant, and economically optimized DPR that enables the safe and sustainable development of this critical river-crossing infrastructure.
